Elizabeth Fry Society, 123 Charles St. 613-544-1744 ext. 30 Open from 2 p.m. to 9 a.m., 7 days a wk. Emergency shelter for women, 25 years of age and older. Food laundry, phone & referrals.
Kingston Youth Shelter , 234 Brock St. 544-3300 ext. 2246 Open 24 hours a day-7 days a wk. Emergency overnight shelter for youths up to 24 years of age. Food laundry, phone & referrals.
Kingston Interval House, 546-1777, 1-800-267-9445 Open 24 hours a day, offers a safe shelter for women 16 yrs and over and their children. Abuse includes threats, emotional abuse, verbal abuse, sexual abuse, and physical assault. If there is room, women in housing crisis can stay.

Partners In Mission Food Bank, 140 Hickson Ave. 544-4534 Can supply groceries once a month to people who need food. First-time users: please call and book a morning appointment with an intake worker. There is often a waiting list, so call before your food is gone. The pick-up is between 3-4pm, Monday to Friday. You must bring one piece of photo ID.
St. Joseph Regional House Food Bank, 16 Manitou Crescent E., Amherstview 389-0275 Serves the Southern part of Lennox-Addington from Amherstview to Bath (not Napanee). Pick up, by an appointment, on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday afternoons between 2-3
Martha's Table, 629 Princess St. 546-0320 Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3:30-5:30. Restaurant- style facility where one can enjoy a hot meal for $1, children under 10 accompanied by an adult eat free.
The Good Food Box, 400 Elliott Ave. 530-2239 Buy fresh fruit and vegetables at wholesale prices. Depending on the host site you purchase from, money is collected up until the 2nd Thursday of each month. Boxes are available for pickup on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Available year-round!
St. Vincent de Paul Society, 84/85A Stephen St. 546-3333 Provides food in emergency situations once a month. Free used clothing and household items and assistance with utilities. Hot lunch. Open Sept-June 9am-1pm (Mon-Fri); July/August 9am-Noon, Tues ONLY.
Salvation Army Family Services, 342 Patrick St. 613-548-4411 Offers emergency groceries to families in need. By appointment. Income and expense statements are required for emergency assistance
